Fluxnodes utilize certain applications that are IP specific. If you host one of these applications (Presearch) personally and a Flux Node that hosts these applications your Flux node will be marked for DOS and removed from our network until the second instance of the application is removed from your IP address. If you wish to continue running your Flux nodes we suggest using our marketplace as in all cases it’s cheaper to buy the application than lose the income from a node. There is an update coming soon due to this. In other words, you can’t run both a fluxnode and Presearch node locally.

FluxOS v3.40.0 has been released bringing major features such as - Adds support for any docker registry > Example: Github repositories, Amazon ECR and more > This further decentralizes Flux and so we are not solely reliant on Docker Hub > You can also host your own docker registry directly on Flux! - Improvements in ports handling - Application mount tests > Flux will now test to mount application volumes upon start determining if this node can truly run apps. This test is enforced to be passing beginning 1st of June! Node operators must ensure FluxOS is running properly by then. - Improvements in application installation process - Various other minor improvements and fixes This release will be enforced on the 27th of May. Dear Fluxnode operators, We have noticed that a considerable portion of nodes do not have properly set permissions to FluxOS which prevents mounting of volumes of applications ultimately resulting in a node not being able to run any application. Next FluxOS version will include additional checks on permissions and ability to run applications properly. Nodes failing to run applications will thus be removed from the network
